4.1       A candidate for admission to the Master's degree programmes except MBA (refer 3.6) should have minimum requirement of marks at the bachelor degree level of concerned field of studies as under.

4.2     In addition to the requirement of marks/OGPA for admission as stated above, a candidate for admission to any P.G. Courses / Diploma should posses a Bachelor’s degree in concerned discipline from recognized university. Eligibility Qualification for admission to different disciplines shall be as under.

Food Processing Technology Faculty:

Food Processing Technology

  1. A candidate for admission to Master degree as mentioned in 2.1(6) should possess a Bachelor's degree in the related subjects as shown in 3.3.1 to 3.3.6 with 60 % as per traditional system, or 6.00 out of 10.00 under OGPA system (Relaxable to 55% or 5.50 out of 10.00 for SC/ST).

Such candidates will however be required to overcome professional deficiencies by taking pre-requisite remedial and supporting courses, as prescribed by the advisory committee.

 

  1. M.B.A.

A candidate for admission to MBA (Agribusiness) / MBA (International Agri-business) should possess Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences with minimum OGPA 5.50/10.00 or its equivalent (55 %) in aggregate relaxable to 50% or OGPA 5.00/10.00 for SC/ST category candidates.

 

 

  1. The applicant for admission to the Ph.D degree programme should possess Master's degree with OGPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or its equivalent i.e. 65% (relaxed to 60% or 6.0 out of 10.00 for SC/ST)

 

A student getting admission in the stream other than his/her field of master's level shall have to undertake required pre-requisite courses as decided by the Advisory committee considering the background of the student.

 

The admission requirements shall be relaxed by maximum five per cent on account of service experience for an employee of the University nominated for Master and Doctorate study under the scheme of Faculty Competence Improvement and in –service candidates from other Universities of Gujarat as well as employees nominated by State or Central Government or ICAR or other Universities or Institutes.
